NewsComputer Course IDEA members attended a 10 week basic computing skills course taught by IDEA staff affiliated to Argyll college. The pupils, most of whom had no knowledge of computers before, learned basic word processing, graphics packages and had an introduction to the Internet and emailing. As the course was run through Argyll College, the members will receive a National Qualification on completing the course. Due to the popularity of this course, we hope to run it again for those who missed out last time, including our own staff and visitors to the luncheon club. We will run a more advanced computer course for those who already have basic computer skills and are on the lookout for other courses the members may be interested in. Back to News >> |
