IDEAs Accessible Transport

IDEAs will introduce their accessible transport service on Islay on August 23rd 2004. IDEAs have gained a second minibus which will run in conjunction with our existing service for Centre members. Our minibuses are available to everyone who wishes to use them but are of particular benefit to those unable to access existing public transport. They will cover the main areas of Islay, our aim being to start slowly and build up further routes when more information is gained on who would like to access the service.

The service is part funded by a three-year grant from the Scottish executive Rural transport Initiative.
